Why Hasn’t My Tracking Updated?
We understand it can be concerning when your tracking information does not immediately update after placing your order. In many cases, tracking updates begin once the carrier scans and processes the shipment through their network.
This guide explains common reasons why tracking may not yet show movement and what to expect during the shipping process.
Common Reasons Tracking May Not Update Immediately:
- The carrier has not completed the first scan yet
- Your shipment is in transit between facilities
- Weekend or holiday processing delays
- Weather or regional carrier disruptions
- Multiple shipments processing separately
Label Created vs. Shipment in Transit
Sometimes tracking may show:
“Label Created” or “Shipment Information Sent”
This means your order has been processed and shipping information has been transmitted to the carrier, but the package may not yet have received its first physical scan.
Tracking typically updates once the carrier receives and scans the shipment at their facility.
Orders Shipping from Multiple Warehouses
Some orders may ship in separate packages depending on:
- Product availability
- Warehouse inventory
- Hazardous material shipping requirements
- Oversized or specialty products
Each shipment may receive separate tracking updates and delivery times.
How Long Should I Wait?
In many cases, tracking updates within 24 hours after shipment. However, carrier processing times may vary depending on location and shipping volume.
